Michael Louis Terrazas, a San Antonio native and fifth-generation Texan, has recently returned to San Antonio, as van Heuven Properties’ first local representative. A graduate of Keystone School and the University of Texas at San Antonio he received a Master’s Degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas.
After graduate school, Terrazas was a policy analyst at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, under John Sharp. Later he went on to play a key role in the entertainment business in central Austin for 16 years, with the Club de Ville, The Starlite, The Woodland and music festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest. As a business operator, developer and investor, he witnessed first-hand the explosive growth of the city, an experience he shared with many early members of the current hospitality and live-music communities in Austin.
Michael is passionate about San Antonio’s history and its future. His extensive business experience and deep South-Texas roots will bring a high level of creativity and understanding to his real-estate activities whether it be in residential sales, investor acquisitions or commercial development. We are excited to have someone as talented and experienced as Michael leading up our expansion in San Antonio.
